After cooking Cheetah Pit BBQ ‘low and slow’ for the last year, Bored Ape Yacht Club member 0xClawd has pulled his Made By Apes Business out of the smoker and begun shipping his signature BBQ sauce around the swamp!
BAYC Member 0xClawd has always loved Kansas City-style sweet BBQ sauce and saw an opportunity to combine his cheetah fur primate with his interest in BBQ after seeing other Apes using their intellectual property!
“I noticed a lot of apes coming out with hot sauces, so I reached out to Tony Wild, who was working on them, and asked about doing BBQ,” 0xClawd said. “After a year of taste testing we finally got the product to market.”
Cheetah Pit BBQ’s first Sauce is ‘a blend of sweet and tangy flavors, with just the right amount of spice to make your taste buds dance,’ according to the website and pairs well with everything from pulled pork to baked cauliflower!
“It amazing to see it out in public,” 0xClawd said. “We gave out a few early test bottles and had a great response, so we went ahead and produced more. We're still working to tweak some of the packaging but the sauce itself if perfect and delicious.”

Now that his signature sauce is available for purchase, 0xClawd told the Gazette that he’s working to get it into local South Florida restaurants and would love to cook up new bold BBQ sauces with his fellow primates in the future!
