The Bored Ape Yacht Club just turned five, meetups are popping up across the globe, and a new community dubbed Ladies Clubhouse & Co. is connecting women across the ecosystem.

Earlier this week, longtime BAYC member TigerIsFine hosted the group’s first event, bringing together women from across the BAYC, Otherside, and ApeCoin communities to introduce themselves, talk Apes, and share what they’re building.

“Thursday  was our first official Clubhouse girls night, an intimate Google Meet, sorta IRL,” Tiger told the paper. “We're unique in the sense that we aren't a regional subcommunity. The women are a global network. And honestly, it exceeded every expectation. We finally got to meet the women behind the pfps. Different timezones, different backgrounds, different corners of the world, all in one room. We introduced ourselves, shared what we're each building, and celebrated BAYC's birthday together. It was warm, it was real, and it reminded me exactly why I started this.”

For Tiger, Ladies Clubhouse & Co. is more than just another community or friend group within the larger BAYC, it’s about making sure there’s always a place for women in the club.

“I kept asking myself: who is making sure the legacy and the presence of women in this club doesn't fade as the space evolves and grows? We've played a big role in building the culture, rallying the people, managing vibes and coordination. How do we support that? How do we make sure it's carried forward, not just preserved behind glass or gatekept by the few who were early? I was encouraged by close friends in the community to "run it back." So I did.”

Right now, Tiger said she’s focused on building a strong foundation for Ladies Clubhouse & Co. and connecting with women Apes old and new.

“New relationships, new friendships, trust,” Tiger said. “Because when the time comes to move, we want to move with confidence and we can only do that if we actually do the work, step out of our comfort zones, be open and connect. Last night was a big step in that direction. We are a global network. This isn't just a group chat. These are real people with real stories, showing up for each other. That's the Clubhouse. That's what we're building. And we're just getting started.”
