From EtherRock bottom to comfy hoodie Punks, an avid NFT collector with a penchant for high end J-PEGs just purchased a CryptoPunk for 200 ETH, or roughly $336,000 USD!
On Saturday, an anonymous OpenSea user named PinkGreen purchased CryptoPunk #5092 from 0x60d25d3428bff3a3435191be88f2ee923dbe1751.
CryptoPunk #5092 is a three attribute human Punk with a luxurious beard, regular shades, and of course a comfy gray hoodie making him one of the rarest and most aesthetic Punks in the entire collection.
Tonight, we do not know much about PinkGreen or why they decided now was the time to pick up this Punk, but we do know that they have an affinity for top tier NFTs and that they have a lot of Crypto at their disposal!
Just this week, PinkGreen funded a new wallet with 200 Ethereum from their Coinbase Prime account speofically to make this purchase.
We also know that PinkGreen holds a piece from Snowfro's Chromie Squiggles collection as well as a work by generative artist Dmitri Cherniak.
PinkGreen has also previously sold an EtherRock for roughly $84,000 USD.
