SWAPPING AROUND THE SWAMP: Yuga Labs' Grails OTC Launches A Peer To Peer Platform Where Collectors Across The BAYC, Otherside, And ApeChain Can Safely Trade Their J-Pegs!

On Friday, Yuga Labs' over the counter trading desk, Grails OTC, announced a major expansion of its services with the launch of a peer to peer platform where Yugaverse NFT holders and the ApeChain ecosystem can safely trade their J-Pegs.

“GrailsOTC's swap platform is now live,” Yuga Labs tweeted. “Want to trade your Ape for another Ape? You can now swap securely with other holders on GrailsOTC all via the official BAYC site. This platform is available for BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, Kodas, Deeds and other whitelisted NFTs.”

Unlike other over the counter trading platforms that rely on escrow and third-party dApps, Grails OTC lets holders trade directly with one another through the official BAYC site, giving collectors on both sides the peace of mind that comes with trading through the best club on the internet.

“It’s a simple bilateral trading desk for NFTs and tokens on Ethereum.” Yuga Labs VP of Blockchain 0xQuit explained. “You and another person agree on a swap. You both keep your assets in your own wallets the entire time. Nothing sits in a platform vault. When you’re ready to trade, each of you signs one offchain order. The platform is built on OpenSea's Seaport contract, and so inherits all of the same security. Once you both sign, anybody can execute the order onchain. Cancel gas-free any time before execution.”
