Take A Closer Look At Beeple's Latest Piece Titled "OTHERSIDE"
Notable crypto artist and Bored Ape Yacht Club member Beeple broke on through to the Otherside in a new work of art late last night!
On Friday, Beeple took to Twitter and shared a new piece simply titled, “OTHERSIDE.”
In Beeple’s latest piece, we see the BAYC’s mascot, Curtis, looking out into a futuristic city filled with pink primates and NFTs from various collections on billboards throughout the town!
The NFTs on the billboards throughout Beeple’s interpretation of the Otherside are Cryptodickbutts, Mutant Apes, CoolCats, Nouns, World Of Women, Meebits, CryptoPunks, and Toadz.
Note, most of the NFTs that Beeple placed on billboards are from the same NFT collections that Yuga Labs highlighted in the company's first Otherside trailer in March 2022.
In the trailer we see a CoolCat, a World of Women, A Noun, a Meebit, a Mutant Ape, and a Toadz all in a spaceship giving Curtis a helping hand in the metaverse.
In the bottom right corner of Beeple’s Otherside piece last night, the artist stated that this is not an official look at the Otherside. “Just fan art,” he wrote.
This is not Beeple’s first work of art featuring Bored Apes and, most likely, it will not be his last. Take a look at some of Beeple's other BAYC themed pieces:
As Apes enjoy Beeple’s interpretation of the Otherside today, they can look forward to going back to the Otherside in March 2023.
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the Otherside and will keep you posted on the highly anticipated metaverse. Stay tuned for updates!
