The Ape Assembly's Governance Structure Vote Has Been Extended Until After Their 7/12 Meeting
The window to vote on Ape Assembly’s governance structure has been extended until after the group's next meeting to make sure everyone understands their options.
After some confusion in the Ape Assembly regarding its proposed governance structures, the DAO's newly formed Governance Stewards have decided to postpone the vote until after next week's meeting. This decision was made to ensure that Ape Assembly members are fully informed about their voting options on this important matter.
"GM Assembly,” Governance Working Group Steward TigerIsFine wrote in the Ape Assembly Discord Channel last night. “We appreciate the feedback and concerns that you’ve shared regarding the vote for “Assembly structure.” @Amplify @ALL CITY and I are working on an announcement to clarify the available voting options and what each outcome means. We appreciate your patience! The vote will be extended and open until AFTER our meeting on Wed, Jul 12 so the Assembly may discuss further.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Ape Assembly is a governing body of highly active governance participants within the ApeCoin Ecosystem that was established as part of AIP 239 and controls a monthly budget of $10,000 USD.
ApeCoin DAO Contributors who either have a Discourse Trust Level 2+, or own 50,000+ $Ape, or $Apes who have voted in at least 50% of proposal votes are invited to participate in the Ape Assembly.
