The ApeCoin DAO Voted To Create A Community Led Discourse Team And you Can Apply To Be On It!

The ApeCoin DAO passed an Ape Improvement Proposal last night that will lead to the creation of a community led Discourse team.

AIP-240 titled Community Discourse Facilitators was approved by the ApeCoin DAO with 38.26% of voters casting their coins in favor of this proposal.

The new Discourse Facilitator team, which will be made up of three members, will be responsible for “overseeing the proposal process, moderating discussions, enforcing rules, and promoting positive community engagement based on DAO-approved guidelines,” according to AIP-240. Each Discourse team member will earn $8,000 USD per month for three months.

The first member of the new Discourse Facilitator team will be Bored Ape Yacht Club member and ApeCoin DAO Contributor Lost AKA TheHodlrCollective. The other two Discourse team members team will be elected by community vote this summer.

The window for ApeCoin DAO contributors to nominate themselves for the Discourse team and run for these positions opens tomorrow; and $Ape holders will have until May 5th to nominate themselves.
