The ApeCoin DAO Will Announce Who's Running For $Ape Office Today! Here's What Happens Next:

As many celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday today, the ApeCoin DAO will celebrate the beginning of phase two of its winter 2023 election season with its official candidate reveal!

After the window for ApeCoin DAO contributors to throw their hats in the ring and nominate themselves for $Ape office closed on Sunday, the ApeCoin DAO has KYC'd and verified all the candidates and is ready to announce officially who is running for what later today.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, there are three Special Council Member spots, a Governance Working Group Steward position, two Marketing and Comms Working Group Stewards seats, and two Metaverse Working Group Stewards jobs up for grabs this election season.

During phase of the winter election, ApeCoin DAO Contributors will have the opportunity to meet the candidates and find out more about them and their backgrounds.

Then from December 7th- December 13th, the community will hold its first round of voting where they will select five candidates from each race to move onto the second round.

From there, the community will vote again from December 14th- December 20th. During this second round of voting, the community will select its preferred candidates for each of the open positions. The winners of this winter’s election season will then officially take office on January 1st, 2024. Check out this winter’s election calendar below:
