The ApeCoin DAO Will Distribute 13,750,000 $Ape To Stakers Over The Next 90 Days!

The ApeCoin DAO will be distributing 13,750,000 $Ape to the community over the next three months to kick off the second year of its staking system!

 

Year two rewards for the ApeCoin DAO’s staking protocol went live today, with 50 million $Ape slated to be distributed to stakers over the next year.

This distribution begins with 13,750,000 coins in the protocol's first 90-day quarter, according to the ApeCoin staking reward schedule laid out in AIP 21 & AIP 22.

 

During this first quarter, which will last between now and March 12, 2024, 4,125,000 $Ape will be distributed to the $Ape only Pool, 6,675,625 $Ape will be distributed to the BAYC Pool, 2542,375 $Ape will be distributed to the MAYC Pool, and 407,000 $Ape will be distributed to the BAKC Paired Pool, according to ApeCoin DAO Special Council Member Gerry.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the DAO will distribute 175 million $Ape to stakers over the three-year lifespan of the staking protocol, as outlined in AIP 21 and AIP 22.
