The Bored Ape Yacht Club Gave Members An Update On The Mobile Game Competition Prizes Yesterday

The Bored Ape Yacht Club sent holders an important email regarding the Mobile game competition prizes yesterday morning.

As many BAYC members were just starting their day Tuesday, many received a surprise email from Yuga Labs regarding the prizes they won during the Mobile Game Competition earlier this year.

“It's almost time to ship the Apes vs Mutants mobile game competition prizes,” the email stated. “We are reaching out to confirm your shipping and contact information.”

The BAYC confirmed that this was a real shortly after winner received it. The BAYC then explained why the club needed users shipping address and contact information.

“Because supply chain issues prolonged our timeline, we have emailed winners to confirm your shipping address and phone number,” the BAYC tweeted. “Be on the lookout for an email we sent a few minutes prior to this thread going live to the email address you submitted during the competition. Please note that a phone number is needed for the shipping service to use when reaching out with updates. This does not need to be a cell phone number, Google voice number or otherwise will work as long as you have access to it.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC held a mobile game competition with prizes ranging from shirts and plushies to a pinball machine and “Mutant Mobile" earlier this year. Check out the prizes below:

The contest was supposed to last a week, but the community voted to end it a day early after everyone played nonstop for days.

In the BAYC went on to say that some prizes will not be mailed during this round of shipping. “If you are a winner of the first-place prizes, BAYC statue, and MAYC beer mug your prizes will be sent in the next round of prizes to go out once fully ready to ship later in the future.”

Stay tuned for updates on the Mobile Game Competition prizes!
