The Bored Ape Yacht Club Reminds Holders To Update/Set Up Tokenproof Before Tomrrow's Ticket Claim
As Bored Ape Yacht Club members get ready to claim their ApeFest 2023 tickets tomorrow morning, the BAYC took to Twitter and reminded everyone to set up and update their Tokenproof apps tonight!
After some technical issues last week that delayed the Ape Fest 2023 ticket claim, the BAYC and Tokenproof are reopening the window for Apes to claim their tickets tomorrow morning at 10 A.M. EST!
“Apes, it’s almost that time. Again, the BAYC tweeted this morning. “Ticket claim for ApeFest Hong Kong goes live this Thursday, August 3 at 10AM ET / 10PM HKT The ticket claim link will be posted on this account and shared on the updated http://apefest.com website.”
As BAYC members prepare to claim their tickets tomorrow, the club reminded everyone to update and set up their Tokenproof apps!
“Reminder: Apes that are planning on claiming ApeFest tickets tomorrow should set up and update their @tokenproof app,” the club tweeted.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, ApeFest 2023 will be taking place in Hong Kong from November 3rd to November 5th and tickets will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, according to the club.
Further, in an effort to make sure only members who can attend the event are claiming tickets, the BAYC will be charging members a $169 deposit fee that will be returned to Apes once they scan in at ApeFest 2023 or give up their ticket to someone on the waitlist. Along with this refundable deposit, the BAYC will also be charging Apes $269 USD for a plus one ticket.
“Our goal is to have a packed house of apes,” the BAYC wrote. “So the deposit serves as an incentive for apes that can no longer attend, to remember to release their tickets to the next in line on the waiting list. If you do attend, the $169 ticket will be refunded shortly after you attend the event and get scanned in.”
If you’re unable to make it to ApeFest 2023, fear not. The BAYC has all sorts of things in store for members who cannot make it!
“There's plenty in store for apes who can’t make it to Hong Kong,” the club wrote. “There’ll be ways to participate virtually, and we’re also working with the BAYC community to host IRL events globally. Stay tuned!”
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow tomorrow’s ticket claim and will keep you posted on everything Ape Fest! Stay tuned for updates!
