'THE CULT IS CALLING: An ApeFest 2024 Update Was In The Cards Today As The BAYC Announced That Apes Can claim their Tickets Next Week!

The 'cult' was calling on Tuesday as Yuga Labs used three bored tarot cards to séance more information about ApeFest 2024 and announce that the community will be invited to claim their tickets next week!

On Tuesday, Yuga Labs pulled 'The Fisherman, The Sardines, and The Cult' tarot cards, which meant it was time for an ApeFest update that was anything but boring.

“The cult is calling,” the BAYC tweeted. “ApeFest tickets will go live Tuesday May 21st. For full details regarding tickets, head to http://apefest.com.”

On the website, Yuga Labs announced that this year’s ApeFest ticket claim will be happening next week, on Tuesday, May 21st, in two waves, with BAYC members getting a 15-minute head start on getting their tickets.

“After that, all BAYC and MAYC holders can snag their ticket on a first-come, first-serve basis—so be quick about it,” Yuga Labs wrote.

While these tickets are free, Apes will need to pay a refundable deposit that will be returned to them once they scan into ApeFest 2024.

At this time, we do not know when the ticket claim window will open or the amount of this deposit.

Along with new details on ApeFest 2024 ticketing, Yuga Labs also revealed that this year’s ApeFest will consist of citywide community events centered around an ‘ApeFest’ headquarters at a former Portuguese Covent called Convento do Beato, and a party at the LX Factory. Take a look at these two venues below:

“Psyched to hang out with a couple thousand friends at a 15th century monastery in Portugal,” Garga tweeted following today’s ApeFest update.

As the Bored Ape Gaxette previously reported, ApeFest 2024 willl be taking place in Lisbon Portugal from October 18-20th.

BAYC members can expect great weather for ApeFest 2024. The average temperature in Lisbon in October is a high of 73 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 59 degrees Fahrenheit, according to Google.

For those who are unfamiliar with Lisbon, it is the capital of Portugal located in western Europe and is known for its seven hills, giving it the nickname 'City of Seven Hills.' Lisbon is also located on the northern shore of the Tagus River. Take a look at Lisbon below:

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow ApeFest 2024 and will let you know when Yuga Labs releases more information on next week’s ticket claim. Stay tuned for updates!
