Yuga Labs’ Dookey Dash Unclogged Closed Beta Tournament came to an end yesterday, and player TIMES#2ENV3T, also known as Twitter user xTimes_, won the insane Mutant Ape grand prize!
After 10,000 Apes, Degens, and normies spent eight days navigating the pipes below the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Yuga Labs and Farways Studios pulled the plug on their closed beta tournament and announced that the first-place diver was TIMES#2ENV3 with a final score of 2,544,023!
For finishing first in the sewers, xTimes won Mutant Ape #29988, a seven trait M1 dark brown fur primate with a Vietnam helmet, a striped tee, and a bored cigarette mouth.
"It feels good," xTimes told the Gazette after his win. "I had a lot of fun and think when the game comes out to the public they will enjoy it. I've seen the mutant and I think it looks sick and I’m glad to be apart of the club."
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Dookey Dash Unclogged is Yuga Labs’ attempt at getting the company and the BAYC into millions of peoples’ hands ‘in the dumbest way possible’ while also empowering members of the community, and creators outside it, to make and monetize their IP via User Generated Content.
Apes, Degens, and Normies will have the chance to reenter the sewers and dookey dash through the pipes later this year, as Yuga Labs plans to launch Dookey Dash Unclogged and make it available for everyone to play this spring.
