A bored time ago in a swamp far far away… a Bored Ape Yacht Club member named Jimbo celebrated May the Fourth with a Star Wars themed video!
The Bored was strong with this Ape on Thursday as BAYC member, and Jedi, Jimbo faced off against several stormtroopers and teased a possible future dual Darth Vader.
“The METAVERSE has been rapidly expanding and the EMPIRE has discovered its growing power,” Jimbo’s opening crawl video stated. "They use modified lightspeed vehicles to transport themselves to the Metaverse, where they face their toughest opponent yet: Jedi Jimbo, BAYC9797. Jimbo’s unique powers make him a force to be reckoned with, and the Empire seeks to turn the Metaverse to the DARK SODE. But the Dark Side will not prevail, as Jimbo possesses too much ETH. As you read this text, we have no plans of making more Star Wars themed shorts unless this one does exceptionally well. Following the opening crawl, the camera pans down to the Death Star and we find Jimbo inside the space station surrounded by Storm troopers.
Jimbo used the force and had what some jedi would call “aggressive negotiations” (negotiations with a lightsaber) with the imperials.
The 1 minute and 50 second video ended on a cliff hanger as Darth Vader watched the powerful primate from the Death Star’s command bridge.
