"THE FUTURE": The Bored Ape Yacht Club Gave The Community A Sneak Peak At What's To Come

The future is looking wild after the Bored Ape Yacht Club gave the community a glimpse at what’s to come over the next few months.

As the BAYC’s DooKey Dash skill-based mint is set to end on Wednesday, the club shared some new information about what happens next in its Trial of Jimmy the Monkey/ MDVMM storyline.

“Gary thinks there’s more to see of ’the Future,’” the BAYC tweeted along with a 30 second video of the story’s roadmap.. “The Power Sources will be here next week, then… we’ve got more toad-licking to do.”

Based on the newly revealed roadmap, the next chapter of the story after the Summoning is titled “Lick The Toad” and it will take place in late February.

This is the second reference to Gary, the future, and licking toads that the BAYC has placed in its Trial of Jimmy the Monkey/ MDvMM storyline so far.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC shared an image of “the future” that Gary the Dog Prophet drew after he licked a toad in the swamp on January 19th.

Along with tonight’s tweet from the BAYC, the club also updated its MDvMM website and teased what’s to come between now and May 2023.

While we do not know much about the next four chapters of the Trial of Jimmy the Monkey/ MDVMM storyline, we do know that the back image of the EVO 1 Reveal Chapter titled "It Came Through The Rift," is the same image that Gary the Dog Prophet drew in his toad induced future sketch.
