The Louvre Showcased Eight Bored Apes And Two Mutant Apes Today. Here's What We Know So Far:

The Louvre was anything but boring today as several Bored Apes graced the walls of the historic museum.

230 years after the Louvre opened its doors for the time, the world’s most visited museum showcased an exhibit of Bored Apes!

“Partnering with Paris Blockchain Week to display notable Apes in the Louvre was a creative way to not only recognize BAYC’s outsized impact on culture, but also showcase how Apes have leveraged IP in exciting ways, Yuga Labs’ Chief Creative Officer Michael Figge told the Gazette. “It also drives forward the very important conversation of digital art getting the recognition it deserves.”

In total, eight Bored Apes, and two Mutant Apes were put on display at the Lourve, based on a tweet by Ryan Selkis.

The primates that were on display are owned by some of the club’s most notable members such as Yat Siu, Snoop Dogg, Frédéric Arnault, Adidas’ Indigo Herz, Deepak Thapliyal, Bored Caviar, Timbaland, Lior.Eth, J1mmy.Eth, and Bicylce Playing cards.

“The Mega Trippy always belonged in the Louvre,” Lior.Eth told the Gazette. “Very thankful to Yuga for making this a reality.”

The Bored Ape Gazette is working to bring you continued coverage of this display! Stay tuned for updates!
