The Nelk boys are about to make moo-ves around the swamp next week as the popular Youtubers get ready to announce when their Bored Ape Yacht Club inspired beef jerky brand will be heading to a store near you!
On Sunday, The Nelk Boys’ Bored Jerky brand took to Twitter and teased that it will be announcing its products' release date this week.
While we do not know when Bored Jerky will be available yet, we do know that Bored Jerky will be selling four different beef jerky flavors and featuring a different Bored Ape on each flavor's packaging.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, The Nelk Boy’s Manager, John Shahidi, first teased the idea of Bored Jerky on the Full Send Podcast in August 2022 during an interview with Bored Ape Yacht Club Founders, Gordon Goner and Garga.
“We have access to gas stations, convinces stores, grocery stores, what else can we do,” Shashidi said as he showed the BAYC founders a bag of Bored Jerky. “So, then we’re like what else do people buy at gas stations, it’s a beef jerky!”
Since then, the Nelk Boys have been teasing that Bored Jerky is coming and that it is delicious.
“Very happy on the way @BoredJerky turned out,” Shahidi tweeted on October 3, 2023. “Our flavor team (same as @happydad) crushed this.”
Bored Jerky will be the Nelk Boys second BAYC inspired brand. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the popular Youtubers’ hard seltzer company, Happy Dad, has a banana flavored beverage featuring Bored Ape # 8928 on the can.
