The ApeCoin DAO’s winter election season is here and the window for ApeCoin DAO Contributors to throw their hats in the ring and run for $Ape office closes tomorrow night at 9 P.M. EST!
The most wonderful time of the year will be the busiest time of the year around the ApeCoin ecosystem as the community is set to elect three Special Council Members, a Governance Working Group Steward, two Marketing and Comms Working Group Stewards, and two Metaverse Working Group Stewards by the end of the year.
Currently, the ApeCoin DAO is looking for ApeCoin DAO Contributors to nominate themselves and run for $Ape office this winter.
In order to run for any of open positions, ApeCoin DAO contributors will need to fill out the DAO’s Google Docs for the races they'd like to participate in by November 19th at 9 P.M. EST.

From there, the DAO will verify the nominees’ applications. Then the DAO approved candidates will move onto the next phase of the election. During this second phase, the community will have the chance to meet the candidates and find out more about them and their backgrounds.
Then from December 7th- December 13th, the community will hold its first round of voting where they will select five candidates from each race to move onto the second round.
From there, the community will vote again from December 14th- December 20th. During this second round of voting, the community will select its preferred candidates for each of the open positions. The winners of this winter’s election season will then officially take office on January 1st, 2024. Check out this winter’s election calendar below:
