The Mutant Ape version of Adidas’ Bored Ape just sold for an insane amount
Opensea user 0x21a1 sold Mutant Ape #27548 to Lendtek.eth for 42.69 Eth or $140,877 usd.
Mutant Ape #27548 is the M1 mutant variation of Adidas’ bored ape, Bored Ape #8774 AKA Indigo Herz. Bored Ape #8774 and Mutant Ape #27548 are six trait blue fur apes with a fisherman's hats, gold hoop earrings and heart glasses.
Adidas purchased Bored Ape #8774 three months ago on September 17th for 46 Eth, according to Opensea data.
Opensea user 0x21a1 used their M1 mutant serum on Bored Ape #8774 on August 30th, 18 days before selling the now famous bored ape.
After purchasing Adidas’ ape’s mutant version, BAYC member Lendtek.eth updated their Twitter profile photo to the mutant ape and dressed the primate in the lime green Adidas tracksuit that Indigo Herz made famous.
BoredApe #8774’s M1 mutant isn’t the only Adidas related NFT Opensea user 0x21a1 is trying to sell. Currently 0x21a1 has Indigo Herz matching serial number Bored Ape Kennel club dog is for sale for 15 Eth or $50,000 USD.
