A CHAIN REACTION: Del Mundos Are Turning Silver Spoons Into People Powered Positivity With An Onchain Necklace Auction And New dApp!

Some are born with a silver spoon in their mouths, and others wear them smelted down around their necks!
On Thursday, the Del Mundos announced they are releasing their first ever physical edition piece, inspired by their mascot Ray Del Mundo’s iconic silver JewelleRay chain and his mission of spreading people powered positivity.
In total, the team is making the 100 “3” silver chains, that will each be made from melted down and upcycled silver spoons, staying true to the project’s sustainable ethos that has made it one of the year’s most popular collections.
Each chain will be paired with an onchain NFT. Ten will be gifted to community members, while the remaining 90 will be auctioned off on the Del Mundos’ new 3DITION platform.
“Edition 001 is a proof of concept,” the team wrote. “The best way to show how our ecosystem works is to demonstrate it in action. Following the Del Mundos community's enthusiastic response to Ray Del Mundo's necklace having been made from real recycled silver, an idea was born… Re-imagine existing value and deliver some blockchain magic… and as we all know, 3 is the magic number!”
With this mint, Del Mundos hopes to not only delight its holders, but also do good and spread people powered positivity, just like Ray always intended.
90% of the proceeds and secondary sale royalties will go toward a new Climat3 protocol, which will empower community members to vote on how to protect the natural world using onchain funding.

The first Edition silver spoon auction is slated for next Tuesday, March 24, at 11 a.m. EST.
