Crypto Whale KFox.Eth, who previously spent 4.7 million USD on four CryptoPunks, recently set his sights to the Bored Ape Yacht Club, and purchased two rare primates.
KFox has purchased a laser eye bored ape and a blue beam eye bored ape since Thansgiving for 410 Eth or about $1,640,000 USD.
KFox purchased his first bored ape, Bored Ape #2663, on Thanksgiving day for a whopping 125 Eth. Bored Ape #2663 is a six trait golden brown fur ape wearing a prison jumpsuit with laser eyes. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #2663 is the 1922 most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.
For most collectors, one rare ape would be enough, but KFox is not most collectors. KFox joined Opensea in October and since then KFox has been making some big moves.
KFox followed up their laser eye ape purchase with a blue beam ape. KFox purchased Bored Ape #9449 from Notable BAYC member TheArtchitech for 285 Eth. Bored Ape #9449 is a five trait white fur ape wearing a black t shirt and blue beam eyes. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #9449 is the 781st most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.
