Bored Ape Yacht Club Member Nobody.Eth aped into the BAYC Honorary members collection today after they purchased Honorary Bored Ape #16 from Crypto888Crypto for 69.69 Eth or $99,900 USD.

Honorary Bored Ape #16 is a blue iridescent fur primate with a series of 8s on its chest and stars on its shoulders.

“Honorary Bored Ape #16 for culture,” Nobody tweeted following today’s purchase. “Thanks to @crypto888crypto @BoredApeYC @yugalabs #BAYC #NFT #NFTCommunity #BoredApeYachtClub.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC Honorary Members collection is made up for 35 primates that were made for those who helped bring awareness to the club during its presale in April 2021.

“Honorary Membership was given to people who helped bring awareness to the BAYC project during its pre-sale phrase,” the collections’ about section states. “These apes are not a part of the 10k Bored Ape Yacht Club collection, and do not have member privileges.”

The current floor price for an Honorary Bored Ape is 97,000 USDC, according to Opensea.
