This Trippy Fur Bored Ape Sold For $537K USD. Find Out More About This Punk Primate:

It was a trippy Thursday at the Bored Ape Yacht Club as this trippy fur bored ape sold for a memeable amount!

BAYC member Kobrakao purchased Bored Ape #3756 from BAYC member LindseyByrnes for 420.69 Eth or $537,000 USD.

Bored Ape #3756 is a seven-trait trippy fur primate with a multicolored grin, a leather jacket, and an S&M hat. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #3756 is the 123rd most rare primate, according to Rarity Tools.

Bored Ape #3756 is one of the most well-known primates in the BAYC collection and even caught the eye of the “Queen of Pop” earlier this year.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, LindseyByrnes and Madonna had a back and forth about Bored Ape #3756 on Twitter in January 2022.

While Madonna wound up purchasing Bored Ape #4988 instead, the material girl told Variety magazine over the summer that she still thinks about Bored Ape #3756.

“I was hellbent on getting an Ape and really specific about what I wanted,” Madonna said on July 27th. “The Ape with a leather motorcycle cap on and multicolored teeth. “I was told that it was inspired by me, and modeled after me, and it was bought by a woman who’s a fan of mine. She was gonna sell it to me, but it was way too expensive.”

Madonna’s loss was Kobrakao’s gain. Following today’s purchase, the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Kobrakao to find out what they plan to do next.

“This was always my favorite ape in the entire collection (double leather themed, multicolor grin, Trippy)," Kobrakao told the Gazette. “I’m planning to build a Crystal Themed world in the Otherside, and this ape was absolutely perfect to pair up with my Crystal Mega Koda.”
