Tiffany& Co Announced That NFTiff Holders Will Get Their First Look At Their Punk Pendants This Week
After Tiffany& Co. sold 250 NFTiff passes to the CryptoPunk community in August, the luxury retailer gave holders an update on their Punks pendants.
“NFTiff holders, check your inbox on 10/26 for a first look at your custom 1/1 @TiffanyAndCo Pendant,” Tiffany& Co’s Alexandre Arnault tweeted. “Sneak peek here.”
Arnault’s “sneak peek” was an image of CryptoPunk #3468 as a18K rose Gold pendant with 86 dimaonds on it.
Hours later, Arnualt took to Twitter again and shared a video of himself holding his CryptoPunk’s pendant.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previosuly reported, on August 5th, Tiffany& Co sold 250 digital passes dubbed “NFTiff,” for 30 Eth or $51,000 USD. Each of these passes gave CryptoPunk holders the oppurutniy to have their Punks turned into handcrafted pendants.
“Tiffany & Co. designers will interpret each CryptoPunk into custom-designed pendants – converting the 87 attributes and 159 colors that appear across the collection of 10,000 CryptoPunk NFTs to the most similar gemstone or enamel color, Tiffany& Co. explained on its website. “Depending on which CryptoPunk owners purchase pendants, each piece will use at least 30 gemstones and/or diamonds to create the custom designs with the highest fidelity to the original NFT art. Examples of gemstones include but are not limited to Sapphires, Amethyst, and Spinel.”
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the Tiffany& Co and its NFTiff project. For more information about the pendants, check out the NFTiff website here: https://nft.tiffany.com
