TokenWorks changed the NFT world last year with its Strategy Coins, and the team is looking to do it again in 2026 and everyone’s invited to get in on the onchain action!

On Monday, Rhynotic and the TokenWorks team will kick off Season 2 of the popular project with an open edition mint, allowing anyone to get in on the ground floor of everything they build this year.
“After a fantastic first year, we’re proud to launch our second TokenWorks campaign," Rhynotic tweeted ealrier this week. "With 11 projects launched, a few breakthrough protocols, and a lot of fun, let’s enter Season 2. Campaign starts Monday Feb 23rd, at 3PM EST.
The open edition mint will be available for five days and will cost 1 ETH. The NFT is your chance to fund and support what the team is building , “a playground for onchain financialized ideas.”

While the mint price may sound expensive, it comes with a prorated refund mechanism, according to Rhynotic. So if the token isn’t working isn’t for you, holders can exit and recover some value.

“We’re going to continue building protocols and creative mechanisms on Ethereum, bringing supporters along on the ride,” Rhynotic said. “We view our projects as a new form of network art that works by including as many participants as possible.”
As the Gazette previously reported, TokenWorks launched in the summer of 2025 and raised roughly 250 ETH to fund its experimental onchain projects.
Those included CabalCoin, which challenged holders to convince an AI agent to approve their sell orders; CTO, a community takeover platform where anyone could change the name, image, and ticker while earning creator fees; and PunkStrategy, a perpetual NFT buying machine that used a buy tax to purchase CryptoPunks, relist them 20% above the floor, and use proceeds to buy and burn its token.
