This Bored Ape Yacht Club member is Trippy again, and he thinks collectors should take a minute, and some Ethereum, to hunt down their personal grails!

On Monday, BaviBull made waves around the swamp after purchasing Bored Ape #6410, a five trait Trippy with sad eyes and a sleeveless tee, for 25 ETH, or $46,000 USD.

A Trippy trade is always newsworthy, but this was more than just a transaction. It was a homecoming!

Two years after selling Bored Ape #6410 for 32.95 ETH, or  $116,000 USD at the time, BaviBull bought his old grail back, turning those sad eyes into trippy tears of joy!

“I just re-bought this exact Trippy Ape that I owned over 2 years ago,” he told the Gazette. “I’ve still got the M1 Mutant, so reuniting these two was the move. I’ve always thought this was one of the cleanest, most special Trippies in the whole collection, and I’ve been quietly hunting it ever since I let it go. Today was the day. Feels like destiny.”

 

It’s no secret that Bored Apes, like every NFT collection, are down from their all time highs years ago. But for BaviBull, the fact that NFTs are still here and their communities continue to build tells himl everything he needs to know about what’s next.

“One thing people really don’t realize yet is that right now is the golden window to grab absolute grails like this for relatively cheap,” he said. “These pieces are going to be worth a fortune later. Just look at how the traditional collectible markets have exploded: Pokémon cards, sports cards, you name it.
