It was a trippy Tuesday night at the Bored Ape Yacht Club as longtime member HolySmonkey purchased a trippy fur primate!

HolySmonkey bought Bored Ape #5979 from BAYC member Potatoz4u for 215 Eth or $341,000 USD.

Bored Ape #5979 is a six-trait trippy fur primate in a prison jumpsuit, with hypnotized eyes, and a fisherman’s hat. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #5979 is the 823rd most rare Bored Ape, according to Rarity Tools.

“Finally always wanted a trippy @BoredApeYc,” HolySmonkey tweeted right after their purchase. “Drunk shopping always wins #NewProfilePic @BoredApeYC.”

Following the trippy purchase, fellow trippy fur Bored Ape JpgPapii welcomed HolySmonkey to the trippy club. “Trippy gang what up,” he tweeted.
