UNBOX: Adidas Tripped Out The Community With Its Bored Ape Yacht Club Inspired DMT Fur Coat

Adidas had Bored Apes tripping out after the company teased a DMT fur coat.

As Adidas prepares to “unbox” its next web3 journey later this month, the fashion brand teased the Bored Ape Yacht Club with a trippy video.

“Probably impossible from the lab,” Adidas’ Bored Ape, Indigo Herz , tweeted along with a 20-second video on a DMT fur coat. “DMT in the woods anyone? @BoredApeYC Unboxed November 16th, 2022.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Adidas’ “unboxed” collection was previously the capsules that the company airdropped to it’s Into the Metaverse holders earlier this year. After the Adidas ITM community completed a scavenger hunt, the metadata of the capsule NFTs changed into the impossible boxes.

“Thanks to our incredible community finding all 8 boxes, our capsule metadata has evolved to what Phase 2 really means,” Indigo Herz tweeted on November 5th. “Now we're all seeing this from new perspectives, together. Shifting and tilting from reality. New look, fresh strategy, a visualization of what's next is on its way. Over the coming days, the world will see where we are headed with the support of CONFIRMED, adidas Originals and our partners . The future is serious fun.”

Following Adidas’ DMT coat post, the BAYC retweeted the video and said “Keep all eyes peeled on @indigo_herz @adidasoriginals.”

Along with a BAYC inspired coat, Adidas and Indigo Herz also teased a puffer jacket from it G-Money, along with a Punks comic leather jacket.
