WHAT THE FLOCK?: Moonbirds Tweets Something New Is Flying The Nest On Monday!

As NFTs across the board catch a bid, Moonbirds tweeted that something new will be flying the nest this Monday.

 

“The next phase of Moonbirds IP expansion,” the project wrote along with a photo of a blacked out, 3D modeled character. “4/27/26.”

 

 

After the post, Birbs began to squawk and speculate on the timeline about what could be coming. Some, like longtime holder Spida, said “dark birb rises,” while others, like MetaverseMan, think the post could mean “DARK TOOB UNLOCKED.”

 

For those unfamiliar, Toobins is a “cheeky little character” that first popped up in the Moonbirds Mythics collection back in 2023.

“Who is Toobins? What is Toobins? We don’t know, but we all want a piece of him”

 

 

Back in August 2025, just months after Spencer acquired Moonbirds from Yuga Labs, Toobins began taking over the timeline and worming their way into holders’ wallets.

Tonight, Spencer has not commented on whether this next phase of Moonbirds IP has anything to do with Toobins, but he did say that whatever is coming Monday is just the beginning.

 “We’ve been quiet for a bit working on some really exciting stuff. Time to start shipping it.”
