ApeFest 2025 may be written in the stars, but the search for alpha about where it will be held continued on the timeline today, after a new work of art featuring a star-gazing Gary looking to the heavens for answers to one of life’s biggest questions: Where is ApeFest this year?
There’s no such thing as coincidences. On Thursday, ApeFest 2025 signs were all over the swamp after the Bored Ape Yacht Club shared a new piece of art that many believe holds a clue to this year’s flagship Ape event.
“The truth is out there,” he BAYC tweeted, alongside an image of Gary the Dog Prophet staring into the night sky from a desert scene, surrounded by a field of radio telescopes.
After the tweet, many Apes took to the timeline to speculate that this all but confirms ApeFest 2025 will be in Las Vegas, pointing to the desert scenery, the trees, and the radio telescopes, which some believe are a reference to aliens, Area 51, and all things Nevada.
The themes of Area 51, aliens, and space have become a trend in these weekly BAYC posts. Just last week, an artwork titled “Believe in something” featured Gary looking through a telescope and a hidden UFO.Cleary “the truth is out there!”
While nothing is confirmed at this time, Yuga Labs CEO Garga did tease during Wednesday’s Otherside Q&A on Discord that he and the team will reveal the ApeFest 2025 location “soon soon.”
We also know that Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner has been calling for ApeFest to happen in Vegas since 2023.
As we wait for Yuga Labs to officially announce where this anything-but-boring event will take place, we do know that it will be held in the United States and will not take place any earlier than October 18th, according to Garga’s recent Discord posts.
