DEBUT AT THE DOJO: Adam Weitsman Will Burn One Of The Last Chimpers Diamond Fleece NFTs Tomorrow And Reveal A Missing Monkey!

A never before seen Genesis Chimper will make its debut at the Dojo tomorrow as NFT enthusiast Adam Weitsman prepares to burn one of the collection’s final Diamond Fleece NFTs and reveal a missing monkey.

“A historic moment in the Chimpers story,” Chimpers tweeted. “The Diamond Fleece returns… Everyone in every single community is invited as we reveal the 99th Genesis Chimpers 1/1... Join us tomorrow at 3pm EST for the live burn! Don’t miss it.”

 

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Weitsman acquired one of the last two remaining Diamond Fleece NFTs from the Chimpers Chronicles collection from fellow collector CryptoBrendle for 10 ETH, or roughly $20,700 USD, earlier this month.

“For those who don’t know, this is one of the most important artifacts in the Chimpers ecosystem,” Weitsman tweeted on April 3rd. “After the Boring Ape Chronicles series, full set holders were airdropped this “mystery” NFT… which later became the origin of the 100 Genesis 1/1 Chimpers, the heroes and villains of the Chimpverse. Since early 2022, 98 Genesis Chimpers have been revealed. Only 2 Diamond Fleece remained untouched. Today, I had the honour of acquiring one from   cryptobrendle .
