Yuga Labs Announced Its New Yuga Labs News Website. All The Details Here:

To keep its holders safe from malicious links and websites, Yuga Labs released its new news website this evening.

“We’re excited to announce http://news.yuga.com,” The Bored Ape Yacht Cub’s parent company tweeted. “This is the new home for all official press releases, blogs, events, and drops.”

In a five-part Twitter thread, Yuga Labs explained the key feature of its news site that will ensure that apes know they’re on an official Yuba Labs page.

“Scammers are tricky,” Yuga Labs wrote. “They want you to click on a link that looks like a Yuga link. Our team reports nearly 50+ scam links or fake impersonator accounts a week. We’ve designed this site with security in mind. Once you land on this new site, you’ll be prompted to create a one-time authentication phrase and upload an image that will only be saved on your browser. These custom features will persistently float on top of the site to show you that this is the official Yuga news site. This website should be cross-referenced whenever you come across a link or information you believe is from Yuga Labs.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC first teased this news website in August 2022 when the club made its way back onto Instagram after a summer hiatus.

Our ultimate goal is to provide a resource where community members can check and verify for themselves BAYC news and links they see on social platforms like this one. More info to come, but as it’s to re-engage our active community on Instagram, a few friendly, basic reminders on our return. These are the only official IG accounts associated with Yuga Labs. We’ll update this list if new handles go live. If you come across a handle that’s not on this list, it’s not us.”
