Yuga Labs' CGO Spencer Tucker Recently Said That Sewer Pass Tiers Make A "World Of Difference"

As Bored Ape Yacht Club members claim their Sewer Passes, many are wondering what the advantage a tier 4 Sewer Pass has compared to a tier 1.

The BAYC opened the window for Apes to claim their Sewer Passes today and members are now claiming their tickets based on what NFTs they hold; and people outside the swamp are purchasing Sewer passes on the secondary market.

Tier one is a Mutant Ape. Tier 2 is a Mutant Ape and a BAKC Dog. Tier 3 is a Bored Ape. Tier 4 is a Bored Ape and a BAKC Dog.

The window for Apes to claim a Sewer Pass is open anytime between now and February 8th when the sewers close.

While we don’t know much about the different tiers, Yuga Labs’ Chief Gaming Officer, Spencer Tucker, recently said that they make a “world of difference” not only in the Doo-Key Dash but also in upcoming activations!

“@boredape93 Tiers make a world of difference, they give you the best starting position, but it's possible ultra-skill can give you the leg on the leaderboard,” Tucker tweeted on January 11th. “That said, tier also matters for future activations.”

Sewer Pass holders will be able to dive headfirst into the stinky sewage underneath the club tomorrow as the Doo-Key Dash begins.

“YOU'LL GET 3 WEEKS TO PLAY AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT,” the BAYC wrote on its MDVMM website. “PLAYERS WILL (BE) REWARDED BASED ON THEIR PERFORMANCE IN THE SEWER. WHEN THE SEWER CLOSES, THE LEADERBOARD FREEZES. AFTER SCORES ARE VALIDATED, ELIGIBLE SEWER PASSES WILL PREPARE FOR THE SUMMONING AND THE HIGHEST SCORE GETS THE KEY.”
