Yuga Labs Chief Gaming Officer Spencer Tucker Tweets About The Metaverse& Ownership

Yuga Labs’ Chief Gaming Officer Spencer Tucker AKA EverydayZukini posted his first tweet yesterday and it seems to reference the Otherside.


On Saturday Tucker, who was recently hired by Yuga Labs to be the company’s Chief Gaming Officer, posted his second tweet ever and laid out his thoughts on gaming and ownership.


“Innovation drives industry, engaging experiences, community first POV, making cool shit more interesting with personalization, expression, social dynamism, ownership," Tucker tweeted. “Let’s meet, meld and materialize epic ecosystems as a group. Let’s write our own story LFG!”




As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported On Friday, Yuga Labs announced via Twitter that the company has hired gaming Tucker to manage Yuga Labs various gaming initiatives including the Otherside metaverse.


“We are so happy to welcome Spencer Tucker aka @EverydayZukini to the Yuga Labs family as our first Chief Gaming Officer,” Yuga Labs tweeted. “Gaming will continue to be a top priority. No alpha (yet).”


Tucker has nearly two decades of gaming experience, according to a press release from BusinessWire. Prior to joining Yuga Labs, Tucker was the President of Games at Scopely and served as Senior Vice President of Product at Gree International Entertainment. He specializes in game development, design, UGC, web3, and creative community involvement.


“Spencer brings a passion for and deep knowledge of gaming and shares our vision for the Otherside metaverse,” Yuga Labs CEO Nicole Muniz said in a press release. “Yuga today is known most prominently for being the home of Bored Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, and Meebits, but Yuga is more than that. Gaming is one of our main focus areas. We are uniquely situated to revolutionize the way we all think about web3 gaming through core principles such as ownership, utility, community, and storytelling.”
