Every 1st Edition Kabuto might be a grail, but this one is a Beast!
On Thursday, collector and Web3 personality Kabuto King revealed the newest addition to his growing collection, a 1st Edition Kabuto card hand signed by the world’s most popular YouTuber, MrBeast!
“Look what just arrived,” Kabuto King tweeted. “Thank you again! @MrBeast Sending to @PSAcard soon!”
The autograph didn’t come easy. Or cheap!
As the Gazette previously reported, Kabuto King first connected with MrBeast in early January, when the creator agreed to sign the card in exchange for a $10,000 donation to his charity organization, Beast Philanthropy.
Kabuto King followed through on the pledge, donating $10,000 to support the organization’s humanitarian efforts, which include global aid initiatives, surgeries, and food assistance programs.
“This will be a GRAIL in my collection,” the Kabuto King wrote. “I hope the $10,000 helps @BeastPhilanthr achieve its goals this year. Thank you.”
Inspired by the effort, card grading company PSA also pledged to donate $10,000 to the charity once the card is submitted for grading.
Beyond a single card, this moment is part of Kabuto King’s larger quest.
