“A NEW ERA BEGINS”: Chimpers Give Every Monkey A Name, Story, And Cute Kawaii Upgrade!

From a pixel past to a kawaii cute future, a new era has begun at the Dojo, with Chimpers looking better, and deeper, than ever with new art, backstories, and plenty of monkey business!
On Friday, Chimpers told holders to check their wallets after adding new kawaii PFPs, full body artwork, and expanded metadata to the collection.
“All 5,555 Chimpers are now upgraded across @opensea aligning the collection with the brand’s growth and social media virality,” Chimpers tweeted this afternoon. “Pixels are our roots. They built the culture. But this is more than an art update… it’s a true evolution. For the first time: • Every Chimp has a kawaii form • Every Chimp has a name and backstory Each Chimp is now part of a living, connected universe, all reflected in the collection’s metadata for everyone to explore.”
With this update, gone are the days of sterile, blasé numbers signifying who’s who. Each Chimper now has a name that fits their look and a backstory to match, adding new depth and character to the collection.
For instance, meet Mouzaburou, formerly known as Chimper #514.
She’s a kind sage with retro eyes and an aged adventure bun, but she’s much more than that, according to her new bio:
“The bamboo weavers of The Great Panda City whisper that Mouzaburou’s grin holds the memory of a hundred forgotten skirmishes,” the Chimpers wrote. “They say that behind those strange spectacles are eyes that once witnessed a power surge rivaling Musashi’s own raw will.”
