A Trippy Match: Capetain Trippy Purchased This Trippy BAKC Dog For Nearly $34,000 USD

Bored Ape Yacht Club member, Capetain Trippy, just bought a Bored Ape Kennel Club dog for 17 Eth nearly $34,000.

Capetain Trippy purchased BAKC Dog #7183. BAKC #7183 is a trippy fur dog that’s wearing a trippy captains hat; just like Capetain Trippy. BAKC #7183 is the only dog in existence that matches the trippy fur with the trippy captains hat, according to rarity tools.

Capetain Trippy purchased Bored Ape Kennel Club Dog # 7183 from Opensea user member Ayojocko AKA Jocco The Ape.

Capetain Trippy told the Bored Ape Gazette that he’s been watching this dog and negotiating with Jocco since the BAKC reveal last month.

“I have been talking back and forth with Jocco about it since it hit,” Capetain Trippy said. “We were way to far apart on price and so I initially passed. He reached back out to me yesterday seeing if we could negotiate again and that’s what started talks again.”

After the two apes began negotiating again, they were able to come up with a deal that worked for both of them.

“I believe it was a fair deal on both sides,” Capetain Trippy said.” This doggo is worth more to me than anyone else being that he is a perfect match for Capetain Trippy.”

After the sale, Jocco told the Bored Ape Gazette how happy he is for Capetain Trippy and that he sees a bright future ahead for the pair.

“Couldn’t have found a better home, Jocco said. “I’m really happy that the dog went to Capetain Trippy- they were meant to be. They are the rarest matching pair, and they look amazing together! I and I can’t wait to see what happens their future holds. I could see records set at Christie’s auctions.”

Currently, Capetain Trippy does not have a name for his new pup, but he is open to suggestions.

“I don’t have a name yet, he said.” I may “ask the audience” and see if anyone has some good creative names to consider and then I may do a vote. I love this community.”
