After Aquamarine's Project Dragon Victory, Orange Backgrounder PP Man Called For Club Peace And Shared A Theory On Why Orange Lost

After the Aquamarines routed Team Orange on the streets of Meetropolis yesterday, Orange backgrounder PP Man called for club unity and suggested that Orange’s popularity contributed to the team’s loss.

On Saturday, the Aquamarines decisively defeated Team Orange with a 4-1 victory in Yuga Labs’ first-ever Project Dragon event.

 

After the game, Aqua agitator PP Man appeared on a Special Edition of The Bored Ape Gazette Live and called for club peace while offering a theory on why Orange lost.

 

“I’m not starting conspiracies, I’m stating facts. Take it as you will,” he said. “But there was a point at which Orange was so popular that it got filled, and you have to balance the game. So they closed down the entries for Orange and players could only go into Aquamarine. Then really good players like Mr. Eth were playing as Aqua instead of Orange. So all I’m saying, again no conspiracies just straight facts, Aqua got our best players because Orange was so popular. But world peace. Club peace.”

 

Orange supporters in attendance appreciated PP Man's cope, but Yuga Labs’ Head of Engineering, James, reminded PP Man that any issues Orange faced were ultimately his responsibility: “Bro, you built the game.”

Regardless of the reason, the Aquamarines won the first-ever Project Dragon event and will enjoy bragging rights over their Orange Frens until next month, when the Yugaverse returns to Meetropolis for the second Project Dragon event.
