A mysterious Twitter Account called “ Applied Primate Engineering” has Bored Ape Yacht Club members speculating about what happened to Doctor “DOC” Abbot Gibbons.

Earlier today Applied Primate Engineering tweeted a photo notifying the community that an ape was “MISSING” and that there is a “reward offered.”

The missing ape is Bored Ape #8676. Bored Ape #8676 is a six trait dark brown fur primate with a beanie and lab coat.

Currently, Bored Ape #8676 is in wallet: 0x6678fB54ABCd19fe11DC499c8d1bAC0Ad081428e AKA “FedererRules.” This wallet was just made earlier this month, according to Opensea.

Bored Ape #8676, Mutant Ape #3413, and 15 other NFTs were transferred from wallet: 0xe7AE2C099546f699761cBBDd85cC75B8908b5E8a AKA Fednadal to FedererRules 12 days ago, according to Opensea data.

Adding to the mystery regarding Doctor “DOC” Abbot Gibbons' disappearance, wallet 0xC395e327333f446A1639d0E5d5C540B18a4E1b74 AKA appliedprimate.eth received one of the two remaining Mega Mutant Serums from notable BAYC collector Deepak Thapliyal.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Thapliyal purchased the Mega Mutant Serum In January for 1,542.069 Eth.

Following all these myserious post, the BAYC took to Twitter and told the community they’ll keep an eye out for Doc.

“We love a mystery, especially from the ape community,” the club tweeted. “Keeping our eyes open!”
