Adam Weitsman brought another pair of hands into the HV-MTL garage this week as he continues working to reboot the project and make it an important part of the Otherside!

On Tuesday, Weitsman announced that artist and storyteller Justin Aversano was joining the HV-MTL crew as the project’s new Creative Advisor.

“From capturing raw human stories through his lens to envisioning the Meebits for public art, he is now powering up his hvmtl to bring creative direction for mechs, pets, concepts, and bridging the broader universe from the Other Side into the real world,” Weitsman wrote.

“Grateful to be of service to @AdamWeitsman@aventurine_eth and uplifting their vision for the @HV_MTLfamily,” Aversano tweeted after the announcement.

Aversano is the second major addition Weitsman has brought into the HV-MTL garage following Gabe’s departure from the project earlier this month.

As the Gazette previously reported, Art Blocks’ Aventurine joined the team on May 5 to help Weitsman oversee the day-to-day operations of the project.

Looking ahead, HV-MTL holders can expect to see Weitsman, Aventurine, and Aversano work to position HV-MTL as one of the premier NFT brands on Otherside through the rollout of 3D models, expanded lore, and a mini-game experience inside the metaverse.

“I’m interested in us being one of the main targets to be on Otherside. I want us to go all in on Otherside,” Weitsman said during the HV-MTL’s first ever Otherside Meeting last week. “As they build this to be incredible, we want to play an important role there. I’m not looking to be a project on the sidelines here.”

The Gazette will continue to follow all things HV-MTL and will let you know what’s next for the bots. Stay tuned for updates!
