BAKC Dogs Revealed: Bored Apes' Have Rare Moment Of Excitement and Raise Money For IRL Dogs

Bored Ape Yacht Club member's dogs were revealed today and Bored Apes enjoyed a rare moment of excitement.

Bored Apes posted photos of their new four legged friends all over social media. Many apes were surprised by some of the unique traits that were exclusive to the Bored Ape Kennel Club.

While apes enjoyed their new dogs, they also be felt good knowing that they're making a difference on the lives of dogs in the real world.

Prior to reveal today, the Bored Ape Yacht Club official Twitter announced that the BAKC project had raised 33 ETH for no kill animal shelters. This amount will likely increase dramatically going forward. For the next 6 weeks, the BAKC will have a 2.5% royalty fee associated with secondary sales on Opensea. All the proceeds raised by this royalty will be donated. The first donation will be to Wright-way Rescue, according to their website. This royalty will likely add up as BAKC dogs are selling fast, according to Opensea. This means a lot of good for a lot of dogs.

“Raising this much for real world dogs has filled our hearts beyond compare,” The BAYC told the Bored Ape Gazette after the drop.

In total, 9,600 BACK dogs were minted by 3,800 different users, according to Opensea.
