BORED BRACELET: Yuga Labs CEO Garga Says CryptoJeweler Is Designing A 1 Of 1 WSOP Style Bracelet For The BAYC’s ApeFest Poker Tourney!

The title of Bored Ape Poker Classic champion has a nice ring to it, and it comes with a World Series of Poker style bracelet designed by an Ape and fit for the swamp!

On Sunday, Yuga Labs CEO Garga was dealing pocket aces worth of alpha about the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s highly anticipated ApeFest poker tournament in Las Vegas, dubbed the “Bored Ape Poker Classic,” and revealed more about the winner’s bracelet.

“Working with @cryptojeweleron a 1 of 1  WSOP-style bracelet for the winner of the BAYC Poker Classic,” he tweeted. “Very excited to see who takes it home but now I need to learn to play Poker well .”

 

 

After Garga’s tweet, the Gazette reached out to CryptoJeweler, AKA Michael Ray, to find out more about this piece. While he couldn’t get into specifics, he promised it’ll be insane and said it’s great to see Garga so involved with the tourney.

“Feels like the founders are actually in tune with their community, and actively making them a part of the overall growth of the brand,” he said. “It’s empowering, and a real example of how to leverage community for the greater mission. Honored to make it, and grateful for the opportunity. I’ll ask what and when I can share. Just know it will be a grail.”

 

At this time, we do not know how or when you can sign up to play, but we do know that the Bored Ape Poker Classic is happening on Sunday, October 26th, at the Venetian in Las Vegas from 10 A.M. – 4 P.M., and that the buy in will be “pretty cheap,” according to Garga.

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the idea of a BAYC members only poker tourney was first announced by Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner in July and could become an annual tradition!
