The Bored Ape Yacht Club community is bored in business after Yuga Labs opened its ‘Made by Apes’ Bodega this evening featuring BAYC inspired business ranging from food and restaurants to clothing and cannabis!
Things were anything but boring around the swamp on Wednesday after Yuga Labs opened the digital doors to its virtual Bodega featuring 194 bored brands that are ‘Made By Apes.’
“Today, we're excited to introduce the Made By Apes Bodega found at https://madeby.yuga.com/apes/bodega,” the BAYC tweeted. “The Bodega will act as the official directory for all valid and active MBA licenses. It's been incredible to watch Apes build out their IP over the years. The directory is live pulling from on chain MBA licenses to display all the Bored Ape and Mutant Ape creations in one place. Keep your eyes peeled as more Licenses are approved and added to the Bodega.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs, and their partner Saasy Labs, debuted the Made By Apes Program on July 24th, 2023, and invited the BAYC community to apply for a license to build!
“Made by Apes empowers holder-creators of BAYC and MAYC NFTs by verifying, supporting, and amplifying goods or services they offer using their BAYC and MAYC NFTs,” Yuga Labs wrote on the Made By Apes Website. “The Made by Apes program authenticates that licensees own a BAYC or MAYC NFT and grants a license to use the Yuga-made Made by Apes logo in connection with their products or services.”
The goal of the Made by Apes program and licenses is to give Apes' products and services more legitimacy and exposure as Yuga Labs confirms via on-chain data that they are, in fact, 'made by Apes!
