"BOTTOM": Crypto Influencer Artchick Calls The BAYC Bottom While Reminding Everyone Apes Aren’t Going Away!

The “bottom” is in on the Bored Ape Yacht Club, according to crypto influencer Artchick, who took to the timeline today to reminisce and remind everyone that Apes aren’t going away!

It was story time Saturday around the swamp when Artchick tweeted about selling her BAYC Honorary Member NFT for 21 ETH way back when; a sale that she says changed her life.

 

“It more than tripled my net worth, CT laughed at me for being poor,” she tweeted. “The honorary ape gift led to drama at the time, but looking back, receiving it helped me in a big way, I was not always the Artchick you know today, 4 years ago I was broke, I joined CT to sell artwork as NFTs to pay off my credit card debt, the liquidity from the honorary ape sale hit at just the right time, I can't even quantify how much it helped And now I return the favor, perhaps when BAYC needs it the most. Apes are not going away, and when NFTs inevitably pump again I think Apes will follow Punks to greatness and those who bought at these levels will look like geniuses. You want to buy when CT is fudding the hardest, when it comes to Apes, I think that time is now So without further ado, Bottom.”

 

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Artchick, along with 34 other 2021 crypto influencers, was gifted a 1/1 Bored Ape NFT based on their profile photos back before the club became the face of NFTs back in April 2021.

“Honorary Membership was given to people who helped bring awareness to the BAYC project during its pre-sale phrase,” the collections’ about section states. “These apes are not a part of the 10k Bored Ape Yacht Club collection, and do not have member privileges.”

 

Artchick went on to tweet that current floor price doesn’t tell the full story, arguing that outside of CryptoPunks, Apes remain the most important Ethereum aligned NFT collection.

Only time will tell if this is truly the bottom, but regardless, Apes are building, Otherside is collaborating with Amazon, and both a physical clubhouse and an anime are in the works!
