Website, apps, and more from Wall Street to the swamp were down Monday after Amazon Web Services suffered major outages across the globe, forcing the Bored Ape Yacht Club to delay its ApeFest merch pre-order sale until later this evening at 6 P.M. EST!

Mutant Monday was insane after AWS, which powers much of the internet and accounts for nearly a third of global cloud infrastructure, went down costing the world economy billions and, most importantly to Apes, disrupting this morning’s scheduled ApeFest 2025 merch drop.
“Heads up, Apes. An AWS outage is delaying today’s ApeFest Vegas merch presale,” the club tweeted this morning. “Will announce a new time as soon as systems are stable. Thanks for your patience while we make sure everything runs smoothly.”

Minutes ago, the BAYC confirmed that the new pre-order time will be 6 P.M. EST tonight.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, this year’s collection, like those from past ApeFests in New York, Hong Kong, and Lisbon, blends the energy of the host city with the club’s signature vibe. From what we’ve seen so far, the designs lean into the space and alien themes featured throughout this year’s ApeFest campaign while also paying homage to recent moments around the swamp, including BAYC Co.
Alongside this year’s main collection, the club teamed up with Made By Apes brands Boring Merch, House OG, Bored Closet, and CryptoJeweler to release four limited edition cobranded pieces that will be available for purchase as well.
