CATCHING A VIBE: Lifelong Collector Spinotron Purchases The Rarest, And Saddest, Good Vibes Club NFT For 21.5 ETH, Or $66K!

Bad vibes are the new good vibes in Web3 after a lifelong physical and digital collector added the top ranked Good Vibes Club NFT which, ironically, is sad, to his top tier collection.

The vibes were high on Saturday after CryptoPunk and physical card collector Spinotron purchased the lone citizen of Vibetown whose mood is in the dumps for 21.5 ETH, or $66,400 USD.

 

 

 

Good Vibes Club #4113 is a one Bad Vibes guy  that’s in a bad place in life with a cloud body, bad vibes face, storm cloud hair, and a hellish sunset background! Based on these traits, Good Vibes Club #4113 is the rarest citizen of Vibetown, according to OpenSea data.

 

After the pickup, Spinotron took to the timeline to thank friends and fellow Vibetown residents who helped make catching this vibe possible.

Following the purchase, Good Vibes Club members congratulated Spinotron on landing the grail.

 

“GVC is moving the opposite of every other PFP, grails are flying off the shelves before the floor even starts running, not vice versa,” DGMD tweeted. “It’s a collector’s collection. No borrowed conviction. Buying for long term and know these are getting vaulted and impossible to obtain soon.”

 

 

Acquiring top tier collectibles is nothing new for Spinotron. In fact, he says it’s part of a broader collecting strategy that focuses on always buying the best.

“As a collector of sports cards in physical and #PaniniBlockchain, one of my strategies (intentional or not) is to get a best piece from various top collectors (coffin cards),” he said. “Most of my top cards/collectibles are precisely that. This one is no different. I will be a good caretaker of this guy.”
