As the Bored Ape Yacht Club membership grows, one bored ape hopes to connect with others who share his sense of style!
Bored Ape #3975, known as Desmond, is a sad eyes, silver earing, black fur seven trait ape. But the feature that he believes defines him most, is his puffy vest.
“Aesthetically speaking, the Puffy Vest apes just pop more to me than any others on the marketplace,” Desmond said. “Total Back to The Future vibe meets chill and relaxed.”
Of the 10,000 Bored Apes, only 227 of them have the puffy vest trait, according to Rarity Tools.
Desmond’s love of the puffy vest trait has given him a mission to find and connect with all 227 puffy vest trait apes. Demond has even created the hashtags #TeamPuffyVest and #PuffDaddies to aid him in his quest to meet other stylish apes.
“I think it would be very cool to all get together and collaborate and grow the community,” Desmond said. “I just can’t help but smile every time I see other puffy vest apes react to the hashtag.”
As the community grows, Desmond hopes to increase other apes awareness of the puffy vest trait and be a welcoming Bored Ape to everyone.
“Puffy vest apes are the chilliest in existence. We are just vibing with all the other apes and accepting of all,” Desmond said. “We are the friends that you always take with you anywhere because we just get along with everyone. We are the apes that will always be the most sought after because of that!”
