CryptoPunks Holder Buys Bored Ape Kennel Club Dog For 45 ETH

After a wild weekend at the Bored Ape Yacht Club, a Crypto Punks owner starts off the week with a bang; by purchasing a Bored Ape Kennel Club Dog for 45 Eth or $117,000.

Opensea user, 0x905 purchased BAKC dog#7343 early Monday morning. Based on their Opensea account this is their first purchase in the BAYC market.

BAKC dog #7343 is a cyberpunk fur pup with a matching cyberpunk visor, BAYC bandana and Pimp hat. Based on these traits, the pup is the second rarest dog, according to Rarity Tools.

After the purchase, 0x905 relisted the dog on Opensea for 200 Eth or $522,662 USD.

While this is 0x905 first BAYC project purchase, the user is not new to crypto. The user purchased two CryptoPunks four months ago spending 109.98 Eth. Along with the CryptoPunks, 0x905 also minted two Meetbits.

In total, 0x905’s Wallet value is 997 Eth or 2,612,932.64 USD, according to Etherscan.

While not much is known about the buyer, the seller of the BAKC dog #7343 is Opensea user and BAYC member SLADDlCT. After the initial article, the Bored Ape Gazette was able to get in contact with SLADDlCT for comment on the sale.

"Sad to part ways with the pup but I’m incredibly grateful for the sale and glad to be party of this community," he said. "Truly life changing."
