DooKey Dash Toad Mode Has Ended. Here's What You Need To Know:
After a week of going toad in the sewers underneath the swmap, the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s second skill-based mint has ended.
Over the last seven days, 19,370 unique Dashers aped into the sewer underneath the BAYC to lick some toads and compete for a companion trait!
“Dookey Dashers, the Sewers have closed, and the Toad Mode leaderboard is now locked," the BAYC tweeted after the game ended this afternoon. “We will begin reviewing scores and share a notice once review is complete on March 7th, 2023. Sewer Pass metadata will update to show whether or not the companion trait was earned once review has finished. N/A passes that registered a run in Toad Mode will have their metadata Ranked trait updated from No to Yes to show they are eligible for the summoning.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, 2,500 companion traits were up for grabs during DooKey Dash: Toad Mode.
“The top 500 score runs from Toad Mode will receive a companion trait to their Power Source,” Yuga Labs wrote. “2000 additional companion traits will be awarded to the 2,000 players who collected the most Toad Points, without duplicating anyone who were top 500 overall.”
At this time, the estimated cutoff scores for Dashers to have won a companion trait are 514,482 for the run scores and 8,041 for the Toad Point scores, according to DooKeyStats.com.
While we do not know much about the 2,500 companion traits that Toad Mode winners will receive, we do know that they’re drawn to the power sources that Dashers won during the first DooKey Dash skill based mint earlier this month.
“Whatever it is, whatever they are, they are drawn to the Power Source,” the BAYC tweeted on February 22nd.
Dashers are expected to find out more about these companion traits, and their power sources, next week during the BAYC’s summoning event.
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow DooKey Dash Toad Mode and will keep you informed on the summoning. Stay tuned for updates!
