From files to fits, the first batch of Bored Ape Yacht Club ApeFest merch was declassified this week ahead of October’s event in South Carolina, and everyone is invited to ape in!

On Monday, with ApeFest 2026 just 47 days away, the BAYC opened the files on this year’s apparel and launched a one week early access shop featuring a selection of previously classified gear!

“ApeFest Early Access is live,” the Club tweeted. “Get your gear before you show up. A selection of this year’s ApeFest items is available now, so you can have them in hand before the main event. Early Access closes Sept 4.”
Apes’ first look at this year’s top secret threads includes four pieces: a black hoodie, a short sleeve tee, a charcoal colored long sleeve shirt, and an ApeFest pin, each leaning into this year’s loud yet under the radar classified aesthetic.
As the Gazette previously reported, ApeFest 2026 is going down at Beeple Studios in Charleston, South Carolina, on October 17, but the festivities with the Ape fam will be happening all weekend long.
“It’s a pretty full weekend if you want it to be one,”Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge said last. “Ive been looking over all the events and I think what we are trying to do is have the programing for the community events, and the Yuga events compatible and make sure there is counter programing for those who want to do something outdoorsy and something that’s a little more chill.”
Tonight, every Ape has until September 4 to preorder their ApeFest merch and ensure it arrives before this year’s main event. More merch is expected to be unredacted and released at ApeFest.
